Risk Assessment Study of Domestic Wastewater Pollution in Kolaka Utara Regency: Geographic Information System Approach

Background: The community in North Kolaka Regency already has an open system of household waste water disposal, but there are still many found a damaged, cracked and even perforated condition. In addition, also those who make the channel not watertight by digging soil form ditch. They use stool that is tight on one side. purpose this study was to determine risk index domestic wastewater pollution. Method: This type research quantitative with geographic information systems approach. Data collected survey method using questionnaires observation sheets. sample 5,320. analysis equal interval Quantum GIS application version 3.26.0. Result: parameters safe suspect tank, most 5,320 respondents (99%) have unsafe septic while 1% tank. For pollution due disposal contents (99.8%) against contamination 0.2% classified as safe. And for discharge channels from respondents, (73%) remaining 27% Conclusion: 4 Districts value included moderate category, namely Tolala, Porehu, Central Pakue, Pakue Districts. 6 high Batu Putih, Ngapa, Tiwu, Lasusua, Ranteangin, Wawo While other 5 sub-districts very Watunohu, Kodeoha, Katoi, Lambai sub-districts.
